Sound in different material

Student of class III A Cambridge studied how sound travels in different materials through different medium and the volume of sound differs in all the three mediums (solid, liquid & Gas) . Students used water balloons, wooden duster and air as different mediums from where the sound travels.

String Telephone

Student of class III A learnt that sound needs a medium to travel through  string telephone activity . In this activity student made their own string phone and used this phone to talk to their friends on the other side of the phone. Students got curious and understood the concept in an interesting way.

Human skeleton

Students  of class III were taken to science lab where they were shown skeleton and different bones in human body and also a miniature of the skeleton was shown in the class where they were told about the importance of skeleton.Students keenly observed and learnt the facts about skeleton.

Activity on Boiling water

Students of class III CAIE  were demonstrated the Activity on  Boiling to show how heat changes the phase from liquid to Gas and also how Gas when cooled again changes to liquid.

Making Carbon Dioxide

Experiment - when vinegar mixes with chemical( sodium bicarbonate) a gas( carbon dioxide)is produced which inflates the balloon attached to the vinegar bottle.In this activity students identified all the phases of Matter.
