Ion Matching

Students of the Class IX IGCSE performed an "Ion Matching" activity in Chemistry class.
They used colorful cards with names and charges of different ions.
The activity required students to pair cations and anions to form neutral compounds.
Each student selected cards and explained the valency and formula of the compound. They also use simulations for better understanding of the concept.
This hands-on activity helped students understand ions, charges, and chemical formulas better.
It made learning about chemical bonding interactive and engaging.Students participated with great interest and showcased their understanding through the activity.

Soluble and Insoluble

The students of Class 2 Cambridge performed a "Solubility" activity in class.

They used jars of water, vinegar, and oil to test different substances.
Students observed that salt dissolved quickly in water and vinegar, but did not dissolve in oil.
They learned that some substances are soluble in certain liquids and insoluble in others.
The activity helped them understand the concept of soluble and Insoluble through direct observation.
It was a fun, hands-on experience that made science learning interesting.

The Energy Superheroes

The students participated in an activity on "Energy Superheroes" to spread awareness about saving energy. They dressed up as superheroes representing Solar, Wind, Hydro, and LED. Each superhero shared one important message on how to conserve electricity at home and in school.Using their imagination, students developed the identity of their hero. They wrote brief description which included name and  gave the hero an impactful name (e.g., Solara, Wind Warrior, Hydro-Titan) also described Costume & Powers and what the superhero wears and how they harness their chosen energy source to heal or protect the environment.
