Observe Energy change

 Students of class 3 observed energy change through this activity . Students observed the paper spiral when brought over of the candle flame which is  kept at a distance of around 10cm . Students observed the movement in spiral .Heat concluded change of heat energy to movement energy.

Stem Club

Students made anemometer using different material like paper cup, carboard, Clay and pins.students collaborated for the activity and presented it in front of class.

 

Making carbon dioxide

Students of class 2 observed the gas being produced in the activity by mixing vinegar and soda bicarbonate . Carbon dioxide gas was produced which inflated the balloon . 

Observing energy transfer

Students of class3 observed the transfer of the heat through this activity . In this activity students observed how the heat from hot water was transferred to the spoon and melted the petroleum jelly where bead was sticking to the jelly as petroleum jelly melted the bead fell resulting to the conclusion the energy transfers from one object to other.

 

 

Using Sieve

Students of class 2 observed  sieve as an equipment to separate mixture of pulses, grains and salt . The demonstration led to the understanding of how sieve can separate the salt from other mixture . Students could relate it with real life situation where sieve is used.
