Students of Class III investigated that the energy is transferred from one object to the other through the activity. A small bit of petroleum jelly was put on the handle of the teaspoons then a bead was pushed into the petroleum jelly on the spoon, Hot water was poured into the beaker and the spoon was then dipped in the hot water . The students observed the bead sliding and then eventually falling of the spoon The students concluded that the energy transferred from the hot water to the spoon due to which the petroleum jelly melted and the bead fell off the spoon.
