Lunar Eclipse

The world is about to witness the longest lunar eclipse in a century on July 27 (night) and early hours of July 28 with duration of one hour and 43 minutes. The lunar eclipse or chandra grahan tomorrow will be visible in India. This day will also be a 'Blood Moon,' where the earth's satellite takes on a reddish hue. A lunar eclipse happens when the moon passes directly behind the earth and the moon is eclipsed by the shadow of the earth. During a total lunar eclipse, the earth blocks direct sunlight reaching the moon. The only light that reflects from the surface is refracted (change of direction) by earth's atmosphere; this light tends to appear reddish, which is why it is known as Blood Moon.

Happy Mother’s Day

God took pieces of everything wonderful to make moms.

God took the fragrance of a flower...
The majesty of a tree...
The gentleness of morning dew...
The calm of a quiet sea...
The beauty of the twilight hour...
The soul of a starry night...
The laughter of a rippling brook...
The grace of a bird in flight...
Then God fashioned from these things
A creation like no other,
And when his masterpiece was through
He called it simply – Mother.
