Titration

Class 10 Cambridge students performed the titration of HCl with NaOH in the lab. The purpose was to find the unknown concentration of hydrochloric acid. They filled the burette with NaOH and added it drop by drop to HCl in a conical flask. A few drops of phenolphthalein were used as an indicator. At the endpoint, the solution turned light pink, showing neutralization was complete. Students recorded the readings and calculated the results with the teacher’s guidance. The activity taught them accuracy, observation skills, and lab safety.
