In this Activity Vinegar was mixed with Sodium Bicarbonate in a bottle and a balloon was tied to the opening in the bottle .The product of reaction was Carbon dioxide(gas). This Gas was used to inflate the Balloon helping the students to know that we can not  see  most of the gases with our naked eyes but they are present in the atmosphere. Earth Day Activity 2019

Earth Day 2019 - Protect Our Species

Nature’s gifts to our planet are the millions of species that we know and love, and many more that remain to be discovered. Unfortunately, human beings have irrevocably upset the balance of nature and, as a result, the world is facing the greatest rate of extinction since we lost the dinosaurs more than 60 million years ago. The rapid extinction of species in our world today is the result of human activity.
Students of class 3A contributed in their own little way to come close to the nature and do their bit .Students made compost in a bottle using dried leaves and Fruit peels sensitized the students about  mother nature.
