Living and Non-Living thing

Students of Class IIA did an activity on sorting the living and non living thing using the different images of the items. Students were  shown images of different items and asked to sort the items in living or non living columns after considering the seven life processes explained in class. The students performed the activity with interest and were able to apply the concept knowledge in the activity.

Independence Day


The Independence Day of India, which is celebrated religiously throughout the Country on the 15th of August every year, holds tremendous ground in the list of national days, since it reminds every Indian about the dawn of a new beginning, the beginning of an era of deliverance from the clutches of British colonialism . It was on 15th August 1947 that India was declared independent from British colonialism, and the reins of control were handed over to the leaders of the Country. India's gaining of independence was a tryst with destiny, as the struggle for freedom was a long and tiresome one, witnessing the sacrifices of many freedom fighters, who laid down their lives on the line. 

To pay tribute to our freedom fighter , students of cambridge wing class III-VIII performed on virtual platform .Here is a glimpse

Making carbon dioxide (17.07.2020)

Students of IIIA cambridge performed an hands on experiment of making carbon dioxide using vinegar and sodium bicarbonate and inflating the balloon with the gas produced in the reaction .students thoroughly enjoyed this activity and observed how gas produced in the reaction inflates the balloon.Also question related to the experiment were asked to enhance and also stress on their observational skills.

Science week activity-Oil and water(16.07.2020)

Students of class II cambridge performed the activity of oil and water.Students with the help of a dropper poured coloured water in oil and observed that water drops settled at the bottom of the container and did not mix with oil even after stirring.Hence they concluded that oil and water do not mix.
